Essentially Solo Circus is…I am…a One Man Circus. However, I also work with other quality circus skills entertainers, jugglers, stilt walkers, hula hoopers, arialists, mimes, magicians etc. This is great as this enables me to provide entertainment packages to events that require more than one performer.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not an events company or entertainment agency, I only usually supply other performers for events/clients I am already involved with.
I can provide an entertainment solution to smaller events all on my own. For example, a fete or small festival may be on a mini budget. For this, I can offer a juggling show, a stilt walker and a circus skills workshop all in one day, on my own, for the price of hiring one entertainer.
Another event may wish for only walkabout entertainment but more than one character. I can perform as multiple characters throughout an event.
On the other hand, a company may wish for a fun team building activity for say 200 people whilst on a conference. No problem, I can plan a session and arrange a team of the countries best circus instructors and performers to come to you, easy!
Another example. every year I supply a growing music festival on a budget with entertainment by organising three performers to provide 8 hours of circus workshops, 6 stilt walking sets, 2 street shows and a fire show.
I set up a circus skills workshop area which is also used for the juggling shows on the Saturday and Sunday. The area contains flags, bunting, signage and a p.a. playing a great selection of happy, feel good tunes.
I also have contact with some lovely people who provide kids crafts which can also be provided and compliment the circus skills area beautifully.
My list of contacts also contains fantastically talented faces painters and Henna artists.
